The unique gift of a woman is the ability to perceive how her actions today will affect the future; she can see what needs to happen now to preserve tomorrow. She is insightful enough to identify and conserve what is precious and her choice echoes through generations.
Kenyan conservationist Wangari Maathai was a true champion of this long-term perception; she fought for a single tree so that her children and grandchildren could walk in a Kenyan forest.
