Making the unseen, seen is a gift carried by all women. They are able to perceive the possibility in things easily dismissed; solve problems by creatively using everyday items and use their gift to pass on comfort and life to those they care for. Kenyan women are known for being able to face difficult realities and yet unearth innovative solutions from the simplicity before them. By taking often invisible tissue rolls and bringing it to the forefront of the viewer’s gaze, I See You celebrates this gift.
