CAMO 40

The eyewear of Camo 40 is made from the looped fringing that would hang off the dashboard of the old Toyota Corolla belonging to the Artist's uncle. Everyday at 4PM the Corolla would rumble down the school driveway, and as Thandiwe would settle in her seat she would be unable to help herself from running her fingers against the loops that were so mesmerizing. The Artist has many fond memories of playing with the fringing as she sat in traffic on the way home from school.
