CAMO 13

“Life is lived forwards, but understood backwards”

African Proverb

Round rings of hair seem to pulse like sound waves in Camo 13, as the dainty braids contrast against the beautiful drum print of turquoise and orange.

The print in Camo 13 is reminiscent of African drums, particularly the long slim drum from the Mbeere tribe in Kenya, which are hit by unmarried men to attract a wife from the village. Camo 13 seems to pulse with the beats of energy and prowess that is displayed by the Mbeere men, making the image hold a secret message of love and connection.
